People Confuse Me.

People are strange. Sometimes I feel as though I will never fully understand us. I want to, I try to but the closer I get the more it feel as though something eludes me. Why do we hate what hasn’t wronged us? Why do we fight to stay separated from people that are no different than us? I don’t understand this instinctive foolish nature that breeds a poison that corrupts all it infects. I want more of us. I want everyone to see that we are all a part of the same whole known as life. What we hate in others is what we hate in ourselves. Find peace within you and you’ll be at peace with everything.  I don’t want to be a preacher. I just want to live a life with fewer complications than what’s been put in place by generations before me.  I feel a lot of it’s unnecessary. When things progress some things must be let go in order to move forward. So in order for us to move forward as a species we must let go of our “every man for himself” mentality. It’s destroying our people’s minds at their core.  People were never meant to be alone. So for a society to have a such selfish mentality as a mantra is a contradiction of human nature. It is human nature to survive together. That’s why we’ve been able to evolve to the extent that we have.  Everything we learn and acquire we feel the need to share. We created language in order to share our thoughts and teach others around us how to live life better. We created means of transportation to ensure that no one is out of reach.  The downfall of man is our division. Only together can we flourish.  Life is like a three legged race except EVERYONE around you is tied to your ankles. The only way to move forward is to move together.
