My Philosophy Response 

Love is a concept I try to understand every day.  Why people go out of their way to make someone else happy with no regard for their own happiness. What drives people to act this way and why does it feel so damn good to know that you’re loved by someone.  People will search high and low just for the chance to experience love and so far the only reason I can think of is love exists is because we know how empty it feels to know that you’re alone. You feel hollow and you know that something is missing but you don’t exactly know what. It’s because human beings were just never meant to be alone. It goes against our nature.  Human beings naturally gravitate to one another and because of this humans have learned to live together and evolved into the species that we are today. So to know love is to know loneliness. Love is the gratitude you show to the people in your life that have saved you from that emptiness known as loneliness. Love is something you show people that make you feel complete.
